Entranced by the motion of stars in the night sky, Kevin taught himself to use a camera at the age of 14 by taking time-lapse pictures at night, and the experience ignited a life-long love affair with photography. Throughout his early career, he developed his own unique approach that mirrors his enthusiasm for life: seeing every moment as a chance to create something extraordinary.
A well made photograph has the power to re-tell a story more vividly than words ever could; reaching across time to profoundly move a person decades or centuries into the future, all with one click of a camera. Kevin believes in waiting for the true essence of his subjects to appear by allowing events to unfold naturally. This unobtrusive story-telling approach allows him to quietly capture beautiful images that are lasting and genuine.
Enamored with the Southern United States where he spent summers as a young boy, Kevin relocated to Atlanta Georgia in 2008. Before moving to the South, he lived and worked in California's San Francisco Bay Area which gave him the opportunity to photograph every kind of event imaginable. From traditional American weddings to various cultural celebrations, as well as portraits, corporate events, dinner parties, dances and every mix you can think of, he's shot it all.
Kevin writes: "Photography is a deeply personal experience for me. I pay close attention to the attitude and character of my subjects and I make my photographs reflect it wherever possible. I want the image to say exactly what the person was thinking about when I took it. To me, there's nothing more rewarding than creating a photograph which really captures the essence of a person, it makes the difference between a mere picture and a timeless work of art."
"I consider it an honor to be chosen as your photographer and I look forward to capturing your memories." |
